Southside Christian Center Music Ministry   

Our Worship Teams focus on growing spiritually and musically; and we spend time building up relationships within the team and with the congregation. Over the last few years, we’ve grown into two teams that trade off each week.  As we rehearse, we spend time building up our musical ‘chops’—I place an incredibly high value on growing and building up our God-given gifts.  During rehearsals, we spend time in prayer, and we spend time studying about worship—what worship means in our lives, in our music, how to worship, and how to connect with the congregation as we worship. We’re currently trying to fill out two full rhythm sections with two guitars, piano, bass, and drums, so if you’re a closet drummer, guitarist or bass player, and you want to get involved, come talk to me. On the technical side, we’re looking to fill out our soundboard and computer projection teams.  Please contact me if you’re interested in serving in either of these teams, as well, and I’ll help connect you with the right people.
